Using Face Shield Without Face Mask Cannot Prevent COVID19″ – NCDC Warn Nigerians

The Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has warned Nigerians to desist from the use of Face Shield without using the face mask.

The health organization who made this known in a tweet posted on its official page on Twitter on Monday morning added that the use of Face Shield alone without face mask cannot curtail the continuous spread of the Coronavirus disease in Nigeria.

“Do not use a face shield without a face mask. A face shield alone cannot prevent the spread of infectious diseases like #COVID19”.

NCDC further urged Nigerians to always take cognizance of all the laid down protective measures to prevent spreading the virus.

“Always wear a mask & remember to practice frequent hand washing, respiratory hygiene & physical distancing for adequate protection
