UCH Reacts to Conflicting Reports on Aduke Gold’s Death

The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan hs reacted to the conflicting reports surrounding the unfortunate passing of Adenekan Temidayo Aduke, also known as Aduke Gold.

It was reported In some media that Aduke Gold died of cervical cancer while some said she died during surgery for fibroid but the actual cause of her death was not disclosed by the hospital management

UCH mangement in a statement by Funmilayo Adetuyibi,information & Public Relations Officer said “It is important to state emphatically that Aduke Gold did not undergo any surgery during her time at UCH”

According to the statement, “Aduke Gold was referred to UCH on August 3rd, 2024 and was admitted to the hospital. Sadly, she passed away on August 12th, 2024. ”
