An expert in travel and tourism Industry Mr. Obasa Oyebola has commended governor Seyi Makinde for remodelling lekan Salami Sports Complex and upgrading of other stadiums in the state

Obasa, the Chief Executive Officer of St.George Travel and Logistics Ltd and current serving Welfare and Social officer of National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies NANTA western zone said the development will boost sports and domestic tourism in the state

In a statement Made available to journalists in Ibadan, Mr Obasa said he was impressed by the developmental strides of the governor and urge him not to relent on his efforts in taking oyo state into a greater heights

“As an expert in travel and tourism industry, i can bodly say the project is Worthy of having because it will attracts more visitor and increase the traffic of local and foreign tourists for sporting activities as well as other engagements which will also generate more income for the state.

” The governor also needs to look into the area of developing tourism sites as another means of generating income for the state, Oyo state is endowed with great potentials which needs to be developed

Obasan however advise the governor to consider the involvement of provate investors in the development of tourism sites in the state
