Three persons have lost their lives while two were critically injured in a separate accident that occured at the Ibadan end of the Lagos expressway on Sunday night and Monday respectively.

The victims, a male and two females, as reliably gathered died on the spot
Spokesperson for the the Federal Road Safety Commission, (FRSC), Mayowa Odeowo while confirming the incident said that aside the pedestrian who lost their lives non of the passenger of the ill fated bus were injured.
Another accident was recorded on the same Lagos-Ibadan expressway at 10:15am on Monday.
Two passengers were critically injured but no death was recorded.

The crash involved a white commercial Mitsubishi Mazda vehicle with registration number NKD06XG and an ash coloured private Ford vehicle with registration number AAA241FY.
Also confirming the incident, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) spokesperson, Mayowa Odeowo said “15 individuals were involved in the accident, including six females and nine males.
“Two people, one male and one female sustained serious injuries and were promptly taken to LAD Medical Hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, no fatalities were recorded.
He attributed the accident to loss of control and speeding, which caused the vehicles to collide on the dry, paved road in bright weather conditions.
The command warned that over-speeding remains a significant threat on Nigeria’s roads and advised drivers to maintain focus and adhere to speed limits.
The damaged vehicles have been taken into custody by the Toll Gate Police, while the FRSC emphasized the importance of defensive driving and urged all road users to exercise caution to prevent further incidents.
