The All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly Hon Mudashiru Obasa have described the late lawmaker Hon Sobour Olawale as committed lawmaker and democrat, who served his constituents until his demise.
Hon Olawale, Omititi who represented Mushin Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly died in Jos during the flagging off of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign.
Asiwaju Tinubu while lamenting the demise of the lawmaker said
” I offer my deepest condolences to the family of Hon. Sobur Olawale who, until his tragic demise yesterday, represented Mushin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly”
“Omititi, as he was affectionately called by friends and loved ones, was a beloved family man, committed lawmaker and loyal party faithful.”
“He was unrelenting in his support for the growth and development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
“I sympathise with his family and constituents, and pray the Almighty comforts those he left behind while granting him eternal rest”
Also, Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo olu in his condolence message said He was a committed lawmaker and democrat, who served his constituents until his demise.
“i pray that Almighty Allah grants his soul eternal rest”
Hon Mudashiru Obasa, speaker, Lagos state House of Assembly who announced the demise on his page said “it is really a rude shock to hear of the sudden demise of my friend and colleague, Omititi.”
“Hon. Abdul-Sobur Olawale was a kind hearted man. I condole the family at this time and pray for the repose of his soul.
“We will miss him.”
The 60 years old late lawmaker was buried in Lagos on Wednesday at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos according to Islamic rites.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Dr. Abdul Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, members and staff of the Lagos State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and others were at the burial
