Have you been to  the brown roof city of Ibadan lately?, if not you are missing and you need to visit  the one of the largest city in Africa as soon as you can.

Ibadan is ranked the second fastest growing city on the African continent according to the UN Human settlements research program (2022).It is also ranked third in West Africa in the tech startups index.

The metropolitan city of Ibadan is a place where you can visit with your family for tourism businesses and other remarkable events at a very low cost compared to lagos and Abuja.

You can enter Ibadan through the air, land and rail from anywhere in the world and the roads are accessible except for little traffic issues ocassioned by bad spot or maintainance and transportation within Ibadan is very cheap depending on what you want .

One may choose to move round through the old rickety buses where passengers are packed like sardine with all the funcions removed except the gear box engine and hand made iron seat with soft foam on it or choose to go with Micra drivers who have no time to obey traffic rules. Ubers , taxiffy and other modern transport company are also around for your luxury movement right from the airport at Alakia bus terminal at Ojoo or Challenge or Iwo road or railway terminal at Moniya.

What to eat.

The cosmopolitan city of ibadan has both local and international standard restaurants and eatery where you can service your bowel and refuel energy. there are over hundreds Amala joints but as a first timer will recommends that you either visit Amala skye, Iya Afin at Sango Barack, Ola Mumy at Bodija Ojuirin, Iya meta inside Bodija Market, Iya Ila at Molete, Habernero at Akala way and others for sumpteous and delicious local meals and for continental food there are several spots in Ibadan where you can get good food but your choice can only be determined by your pocket.

Where to go.

Ibadan is blessed with humongous tourism potentials and if you are trully want to explore Ibadan, it may take up to five days or more and where you go is determined by your interest. but some it wont be nice visiting ibadan without visiting Cocoa house, the first high rise building in Africa, The Mapo Hall, Bower’s Tower, Eleyele lake, Lagelu Masoleum,  University of Ibadan. Ijaye, Irefin Palace, NTA Ibadan, Museum of National Unity , The cathedrals in Ibadan, the warriors houses and lot more.

What to do In Ibadan.

Ibadan is densely populated with people with diverse ideas and business interest.one may choose to venture into hospitality business. ICT, buying and selling, service providers or engage in local businesses like food stuff, fruits, drinks, or retail businesses as well as investing in health and education sectors

Where to stay…
There are hotels in Ibadan, cheap and affordable hotels as well as medium and hotels with international brands are available. Ilaji resports is another home away from home one can explore and enjoy all sorts of sporting games and others that will make your stay memorable. Night life in Ibadan is also moderate as clubs with modern facilities and exotic drinks are available in the ancient city.
