The National body of PDP Media Vanguard, under the leadership of the National President, Hon Kate Owen Obusoh and the National Secretary, Mr. Omokaro Stanley O. have approved the appointment of the voice publisher, Ajao Musa Bolaji as the Coordinator of PDP Media Vanguard in Oyo state.
Ajao Musa Bolaji is the CEO of Thevoicenews. He’s a committed member of People Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State, Nigeria until his appointment.
The roles and responsibilities expected of a State Coordinator of PDP Media Vanguard as contained in the appointment letter read as follows:-
Group Management:
i. Constitute a State Executive Committee comprising of executive members of key positions that will work alongside your office in achieving the vision of the Peoples’ Democratic Party and PDP Media Vanguard.
ii. Create Local Government structures which shall comprise of coordinators from all the LGAs of your State.
iii. Disseminating of verifiable political news/updates most especially of the PDP from your state/region to the national body.
iv. With the assistance of the national body, also ensure that structures are in place and appropriate enough to efficiently and effectively run the PMV’s activities in your state.
v. Provide regular feedback on upcoming activities, courtesy visits, mobilization process and general performance of your state chapter to the National Executive Council.
Stakeholders Management:
i. Ensure you work in cohesion with the State Working Committee of the PDP in your state as well engage in party activities and functions.
ii. Coordinate courtesy visits to PDP Stakeholders within the confine of your state.
iii. Liaise and provide necessary support to the National body whenever called upon most especially when the National body is operating within your state or region.
iv. Host the National Exco whenever they are in your state on an official assignment.
v. Represent PDP Media Vanguard in various interagency, media or any stakeholders’ forum in your state.
Mobilization:
i. Ensure various activities of PMV in your state are coordinated and implemented in a systematic and sequential manner.
ii. Mobilize online, and field walks campaigns when necessary for the Peoples Democratic Party in your state.
