The Polytechnic, Ibadan Commences 35th, 36th, 37th 38th Combined Convocation Programme

Activities marking the 35th, 36th, 37th, 38th combined convocation programme of The Polytechnic, Ibadan commences today 8th December, 2023 with a Jumat service at the Central Mosque of the institution.

Chairman, Protocol and Publicity Sub-Committee/ Public Relations Officer Soladoye Adewole disclosed this in a statement

According to the statement, the Rector of the institution, Professor Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi will lead the Management, Members of the Graduation Programme Planning Committee,The Polytechnic Staff and Students to the Jumat service which commences at 1 pm.

“On Sunday, 10th December, 2023 a special convocation church service will hold at the Lord’s Chapel, the institution’s official church at 10 am.”

“On Wednesday, 13th December, 2023 the Graduation Lecture will hold at the North Campus Assembly Hall of the institution. The lecture, titled: Leadership Evolution: Empowering Change Agents for a Transformative Future will be delivered by Amb. Major General (Rtd) Ashimiyu Adebayo Olaniyi at 2pm.”

“The Graduation Ceremony, the peak of the activities will hold on Friday, 15th December, at the North Campus Assembly Hall of the institution at 9am.”

“The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Exellency, Engr. (Dr) Oluseyi Makinde, who is also the Visitor to the institution, will be the Special Guest of Honour.”
