Nigerians have been urged to always abide with the fear of God in all their activities by putting God first in their activities.
The Chief Imam of Olorusogo Central Mosque, Oloko, Bembo area, Apata, Ibadan, Imam Muritala Tirimidh gave the charge on Thursday at The Polytechnic, Ibadan Central Mosque as members of The Polytechnic, Ibadan community gathered together to seek the face of God in the activities of The Institution.
In the same vein, the Guest Cleric from The Living Springs Chapel , Sango, Ibadan, Pastor Taiwo Ibikunle urged Nigerians to join hands together to salvage the Country from is present moral decadence.
The Cleric who spoke at The Lord’s Chapel, the official church of the Institution noted that God should be at the fore front of the activities of the staff and students of the Institution.
Both men of God, Imam Muritala Tirimiidh and Pastor Taiwo Ibikunle also stressed the need for honesty and dedication to duty by the staff of the Institution.
They noted that The Polytechnic, Ibadan has a lot of role to play in the efforts of turning around the fortune of the Institution for the better as the major role of the Institution is the training of the youths who will assume the mantle of leadership in different aspects of the nations affairs tomorrow.
The Church programme was attended by the Chairman of The Governing Council, Professor Kunle Akinyemi and other Christian officers and students of the Institution while the Mosque programme was attended by the Rector, Professor Kazeem Adekunle ADEBIYI and other muslim officers and students.
