The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) of the Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, Oyo state, has dissociated itself from an online publication tagged “Oke-Ogun Poly Lecturers Accuse Rector of Maladministration”.

The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic ASUP, in a statement by its Chairman, Comrade Olaleye George Abiodun, and made available to newsmen on Saturday, declared that it did not authorise any media house or its representatives to publish the said news story.

Comrade Olaleye maintained that, “Such a publication was designed to cast the institution and the union in bad light, hence it should be discountenanced”.

The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic ASUP boss noted that the academic staff union is a peace – loving and law-abiding body that will never allow itself to be used to settle unimportant issues or political propaganda.
