The remains of Mr. Idowu Ogunbunmi, an artist with FRCN Ogoilu FM, have been laid to rest in his hometown of Ola, Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State.

Mr. Ogunbunmi was buried after a funeral service held at Union Baptist Church, Ola, where mourners were reminded of the transient nature of life. In his sermon,
Reverend Tope Fawooye described life as a journey filled with both victories and sorrows, noting that the late Ogunbunmi had fought a good fight and completed his race.
The cleric explained that the number of years allotted to every individual is determined by God, adding that the race of life is rooted in obedience to God’s commandments rather than the pursuit of worldly things. He urged Christians to live each day with consciousness of eternity and encouraged the bereaved family to find comfort in God.
Family members who spoke with FRCN News described the deceased as an irreplaceable pillar of the family, whose passing has left a deep void.
Prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased, the family he left behind, and the peace and progress of Ola town.
Dignitaries at the burial ceremony included the Head of News and Current Affairs, FRCN Ibadan National Station, Mr. Wumi Faniran; an elder brother of the deceased, Mr. Peters Ogundeji, popularly known as Apata; the Olori Oranmiyan Oko, Olori Abosede Akinola; members of Ogoilu FM, and other guests.
Late Mr. Idowu Ogunbunmi, a native of Ola in Ejigbo Local Government Area, passed away on Sunday at a young age.
