Team Nigeria Para-athletes have made a remarkable showing at the ongoing World Para Athletics (WPA) Grand Prix in Tunis, Tunisia, winning a total of 15 medals — comprising 10 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze — as of Day Two of the international event.

The competition, which ends on Wednesday, has seen Nigerian athletes dominate various track and field categories. The country’s participation was made possible through sponsorship from the National Sports Commission (NSC), chaired by Mallam Shehu Dikko with Hon. Bukola Olopade serving as Director General.

The medals were secured across multiple classifications, highlighting the strength and depth of Nigeria’s para-athletic talent.
