Worried by the spread of the corona virus disease , the spiritual head and founder of Shafsudeen in Islam worldwide, Alhaji, Engr.Sabit Ariyo Olagoke (jp) has blamed clerics from both the islam and Christians sect for their inability to find lasting solutions to the pandemic through prayers, stating that they preach prosperity instead of salvation and healing
Prof. Olagoke in a press release which he personally signed and made available to journalists hinted that clerics should be blamed and urged them to henceforth stop preaching prosperity but to concentrate on healings and salvation.
He called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the Nation and cooperate with the government directives as a possible way of eradicating he virus which is presently trending among the countries of the world.
“Solutions should come from the clerics and if it is not coming from them it is a big shame and they must from this time rise to the occasion and pray o God for the total eradication of the pandemic”
The cleric who stated that this time called for a sober reflection to move closer to God added that the covid:19 as it happens all over the world is an indication that God is not at peace with us and urged our leaders to use the occasion to make a positive change in the way they rule the country.
The cleric however advised government at all levels to improve on the health facilities and ensure that professionals are put in strategic places to put in place quality health facilities that will cater for the needs of the masses.
While speaking on the palliative measures put in place by the government, prof. Olagoke stated that those in charge should not see it as a means of enriching themselves and ensure that the palliatives get to the downtrodden masses who are the direct target of the government.
He however congratulated the Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for been healed of the virus..
