Spiritual leader Satguru Maharaj Ji has issued a stern warning to foreign powers, particularly the United States and its affiliates, to desist from interfering in Nigeria’s internal political affairs, describing such actions as “unwelcome and dangerous.”
Reacting to a recent call by the Institute of Law Research and Development (ILAWDUN) urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reverse the Emergency Rule declared in Rivers State, Maharaj Ji described the appeal as “insulting” and “an affront to Nigeria’s sovereignty.”
“No foreign authority has the liberty to interfere in Nigeria’s domestic affairs. Any such nation that attempts it would sink,” the Satguru declared in a statement released on Sunday.
He accused the U.S. and other Western nations of decades-long manipulation and exploitation of African states for selfish gain, warning that the era of what he called “global U.S. dictatorship disguised as democracy” is over.
Maharaj Ji backed President Tinubu’s declaration of a State of Emergency in Rivers State, calling it a sovereign decision not subject to external review. He emphasized that Nigeria’s political challenges are part of its “learning process” and should be allowed to unfold without foreign interference.
He also reminded the public of former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s 1991 acknowledgment of “Superior Forces” guiding global events, asserting that Nigeria is under divine protection and transformation.
“This is a new era. Nigeria must evolve on its own terms, free from the manipulations of America, Europe or Saudi Arabia,” Maharaj Ji said, urging the President to focus on economic revival by removing systemic barriers and investing in local industries.
He concluded with a passionate call for African unity and a new Golden Age, declaring, “The divine journey to peace, abundance and global awakening has begun under my watch.”
