Stakeholders have raised the alarm over Boko Haram insurgence in the North East and other parts of the Country.
People are being killed on daily basis while farmers have been forced out of their farmland which is a signal to impending famine.
Of recent, no fewer than 200 people are being killed in Benue and Plateau states respectively.
The security operatives including the Army and the local vigilante groups are victims of the deadly religious sect otherwise known as Boko Haram.
Many villages have become desolate in the Country as the inhabitants are either dead or taking refuge within or outside the Country.
In April 2023 three persons were killed while others sustained various degrees of injuries when Boko Haram launched mindless attacks on Christian community in Badawa, Kano state.
On 7th of April The Head Pastor in one of the branches of the Church identified as Benedict Arowolo was killed during the attacks.
One of the survivors,a 29 years old man identified as Mr Sheriff Akinola Ajagbe escaped death by whiskers.
The survivor , as reliably gathered was the leader of the Evangelical arm of the Church which comprises of 12 members.
It was gathered that the survivor of the heinous act was adopted by the late Pastor after the demise of his parents in a ghastly motor accident along Kaduna/Kano highway.
This situation, as reliably informed compelled him to enroll for six months training at the Evangelism school after the completion of his post primary education at St.Louis Secondary School in Bompai , Kano 2006-2012 and he attended Federal College of Education ,Kofar Kabuga in Kano.
The threat of Suspected Fulani herders attack forced majority of the villagers including the survivor to leave the town in droves.
As at the time of filing this reports the whereabout of Mr. Sheriff Akinola Ajagbe is not known.
