Students, Lecturers and workers today scampered for safety as sporadic gunshot rented air at the North Campus of The polythebic of Ibadan today
The incident which occurred around 1 pm lasted for few mins before the arrival of school security who came to rescue the situation.
It would be recalled that, there were several gunshot at the school last week during the matriculation
Some of the student who prefer anonymity told our reporter that the gunshots was released by membe s of cult group
‘ We were receiving lecture at one of the halls at music when we heard the first shot, by the time the second shot was released people were jumping through windows and running helper shelter for safety’
Nobody can say the direction at which the gunshot was coming from, nobody was injured too, but calm return to the scene after therapy arrival of the school security.
Though no official statement from the school management yet but an inside source told our reporter that the security in conjunction with the police who arrived some minutes apprehended some suspected cultists for interrogation
