The Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III has condoled the family of Deputy Commissioner of Police Gbolahan Olugbemi whose body was found hanging in his home in Ogbomoso on Easter Monday.
In a condolence letter he personally signed, the monarch described his death as a tragic loss which left him in shock.
He urged the family to find solace in the good memories shared with the deceased whom he described as a remarkable officer and hero.
“Please accept my deepest condolences for the tragic loss of DCP, Gbolahan Oyedemi.
“The news of his sudden passing has left me in great shock and disbelief. I cannot fathom the level of pain and sorrow your family must be enduring during this heartbreaking time. Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow I feel for his loss. DCP Gbolahan Oyedemi was a remarkable individual who dedicated his entire life to serving and protecting the community. People like him are true heroes who selflessly safeguard our society and it is truly devastating to learn of his untimely departure.
“I cannot begin to comprehend the depth of anguish and heartbreak everyone is experiencing on the death of an energetic gallant officer with promising future, but please note that my thoughts and prayers are always with the family, friends, Ogbomoso community. May you all find comfort and strength in the love and memories you shared with Late DCP, Gbolahan Oyedemi.

The late Oyedemi who died on moday was buried in Ogbomoso Thursday
