Soun Didn’t Order Closure of Ogbomoso Central Mosque, Removal of Chief Imam- Sheik Ayilara

The Chief Imam of Ogbomoso Sheikh Teliat Yinus Oluwasina Ayilara on Friday debunked the information being circulated in the public that Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege 111 has  order closure of Ogbomoso Central Mosque Oja Igbo and removal of chief Imam

There crisis rocking the  Muslims  in Ogbomoso is degenerating into a crisis which of not properly manage may escalated into a serious Conflict.

Part of the claims against the Imam was that he is not a member of the Ayilara family which he claims, so he is not entitle to that position.

They  insisted that he is not worthy of leading the congregations thereby calling for his removal and closing of mosque pending the time a new Imam will be selected While some group of youths in a video posted in socia media said they are in support of Chief Imam and have nothing against him.

Reacting to the development during Jumat sermon on Friday afternoon, Sheik Ayilara warned those spreading false information against the monarch to desist and stop blackmailing the monarch with their unfounded rumours.

He said ‘ Kabiesi did not order closure of the mosque or removal of Chief Imam, he has never said that, when we met him he told us he wont meddle in the affairs of any religious because he is the king over all.

Recalled that during the week some group of supporters storms the palace to rally the monarch’s support for him because he is a young man who has been toeing the path of the truth.
