C-Fancy crooner, Asimiu Ajebori has been speaking about his kind of music and his latest production titled ‘Sorosoke’ which, according to him is his own way of communicating with Nigerian youths.
The experienced musician who spoke with the media in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State said he was inspired to release the new production, ‘Sorosoke’ because of the present situation Nigeria found itself.
His words, “I really feel for the average Nigerian youth. It is not easy at all. But we should all be patient and be calculative before making our decisions afterall, we do not have any other country outside Nigeria.”
The musician also used the opportunity to directly address the youths saying “I will counsel the youths to desist from consumption of hard drugs because it can cause a lot of damage to their future and it has adverse effects on their health. Many youths are in the rehabilitation centres undergoing rehabilitation.”
While speaking about his greatest source of inspiration in the Nigerian music industry, Ajebori said “after God, Late Alhaji (Dr) Sikiru Ayinde Barrister is my role model in the music industry. I loved playing his music, and it was his song that gave me so much inspiration. I sang his music at the early stage of my career and it attracted a lot of admirers to my house”.
The ‘Omo Gba Feeder’ creator spoke further about his new release, “I want to inform my numerous fans that I have spoken loud in my latest album, ‘Sorosoke’. They should ensure that they embrace and buy and also buy for loved ones. Sorosoke is my own way of communicating with Nigerian youths. You can but your own copy online and at prominent record stores all over Nigeria.
“I want to assure them that Nigeria will rise again. I am optimistic and passionate about our country, Nigeria, for it shall be well with this country. I implore them not to give up on our dear nation”.
