Sir Adeyemi Adekunle,a former Permanent and Former Permanent Secretary (GSO),Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and President Ogbomoso first group will today be honoured with Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS)
He would be honoured alongside, former SGF, Boss Mustapha, National Security Adviser, President of the Senate, Godswill Akabio, Speaker House of Reps , Dr Tajudeen Abass, Seven state Governors , Service Chiefs Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President, Dangote Group, Comptroller-General, Nigeria Customs Service, Wale Adeniyi; Governor of the CBN, Yemi Cardoso; Executive Chairman, FIRS, Zach Adedeji; IGP Kayode Egbetokun and others.
The Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) is organized by the Best Strategic (TBS) Media in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The Award, which will be presented by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was established in 2022 to recognizes and reward distinguished public service to Nigeria and Nigerians.
The event will be held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja
The Ogbomoso born Lawyer, Administrator, Manager and Planner and experience civil servant with over three decades of experience in the Federal Civil Service of Nig retired in September 2020
Prior to his final exit from the Public Service in September 2020, he served as the Secretary to the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 and the Secretary, 2023 Presidential Inauguration Committee.
He was also the Chairman of the 5th NSWG of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI).
Adekunle is the Deputy Chancellor of the Diocese of Ogbomosho (Anglican Communion) and a Knight of John Wesley in the Methodist Church of Nigeria.
He has recieved many local and internal award
