Ogbomoso Muslim community has disclaims Sheikh Olamilekan Bulala who was accused of kidnapping and raping a woman in the community

Sheikh Olamilekan Bulala was reported to have kidnapped a married woman, Mrs Adegbola Khadijat in Ogbomoso and held her hostage for 14 days.

According to the report,the cleric beats and raped her for two weeks and even invted two of his friends; sheikh Omo-Oba and sheikh Kaosara to do so. 

The lmam in council other stakeholder said though the man was in Ogbomoso sometimes ago for an Maloud organized by another islamic schorlar popularly known as Olongini but he is an offa man and he never stay in Ogbomoso beyond one day

In an exclusive interview with the chief imam of ogbomoso land Asheikh Dr Alamal yekeen Ashafa Adegboyega Sunusi the Paramount imam in ogbomoso and it’s environs a painstaking investigation was embark upon to accertain wether the Said suspected kidnapper is a bonafide son of the day soil but all investigation proved abortive he is any way not related to ogbomoso he just once came to ogbomoso once for Maolid program and since then he has not seen in ogbomoso again

The chief imam admonishes all Islamic clerics in ogbomoso to stick to word of Allah and Sunnah of prophet Muhammad and to eschew all social vices that can tarnish their images and reputation because nobody can dent and tarnish the image of islam

Also an Islamic Scholar, Sheik Qossim Olaosebikan in a chat with “we are ready to work with the security agencies on the matter because we won’t tolerate anything that will disrepute islamic religion and our sheiks Ogbomoso”.

While urging the security agencies to also do a thorough investigation on the matter the islamic leaders also urge media practitioners to always do crosscheck fact before rushing into publication
