Borno Central Senator supports 1,720 constituents with cash incentives and economic empowerment tools worth Billion of Naira to alleviate poverty and cushion the effect of fuel subsidy.
Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan who is representing Borno central under All Progressives Congress APC is a first timer in the Senate
Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum min, fnse on 26th of February 2024 flagged off the distribution of 1720 items provided by the lawmaker.
The 1720 items which consisting of 500 Grinding Machine, 500 Sewing Machine, 250 Deep Freezer, 50 Refrigerator, 100 Generator 20 Napep, 150 Block making Machine, 150 Agricultural Equipment and 20,000 Cash for each of the beneficiaries.
The flagging off ceremony took place at the multi purpose hall government house Maiduguri.
APC Duputy national chairman north Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, APC State Party chairman Hon. Bello Ayuba, SSG, HOS, members of the National Assembly and state assembly, commissioners, advisers among other top government officials were in attendance.
