Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, The Chairman, Senate Commitee On Land Transport, representing Oyo North Senatorial District has commiserated with the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, over his mother’s death,Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde, who passed on in the early hours of Thursday in Ibadan at the age of 80years.
In his condolence message to the governor, Senator Buhari described the death of the late matriarch as irreplaceable and irreparable but
a glorious exit to the world beyond.
” I wish to commiserate with the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the family of the deceased and the good people of the state over the death of the mother of the governor.
” The matriarch’s departure is a great loss at this time the governor needs her motherly advice and supports generally.
” Every person in the position of the governor will love to see his mother enjoy the fruits of her labour after living an accomplished life to see the child attain such height in life.
” But it is the will of Allah and nobody can question Him”, Buhari condoled.
The Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) prayed that the Lord will uphold, comfort and grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
