The Senator, representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai and All progresives Congress APC, Ekiti state chapter have condoled with Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.
The lawmaker who sympathised with immediate family of Abba Kyari and presidency on the great loss expressed this in a release issued and made available to journalists today.
“As a Muslim, I believe there is no untimely death as the Giver of souls can decide to take it at anytime He pleases”, Senator Buhari said while added that surely everyone will die at his or her destined time.
The lawmaker prayed onto God to forgive all his sins, reward all his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaous and uphold members of family.
Also the Chairman of the Ekiti State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Barrister Paul Omotosho in a Press Statement released on his behalf by the party’s Public Relations Officer, Hon. Ade Ajayi in Ado Ekiti on Saturday, expressed shock on the demise of presidential aide and prayed for the repose of his soul.
The statement reads; “on behalf of all the party members in the state, I pray that God Almighty forgives his shortcomings and admits him into paradise.
” He was a committed party member and he shall long be remembered for his zeal for the advancement of the party and for the development of the country.
“May God Almighty give his family the fortitude to bear this loss and grant him Aljunnah”.The statement stated.
Meanwhile Abba Kyari’s corpse has arrives for prayers
Special Adviser to president Buhari on Media , Mallam Garba Sheu, said “We just received the body of Abba Kyari the deceased Chief of Staff the President in Abuja. In strict observation of the protocol put in place for the burial of Coronavirus victims by the NCDC and the Federal Ministry of Health, the funeral prayer and burial will be private. Thereafter,there will be no such ceremonies as condolence visits.
“Well meaning friends, family members and the general public are encouraged to pray for the repose of Abba Kyari’s soul.”
