It is another sad news for the political arm of Nigeria as an Ogun state Born Businessman and Politician, Buruji Kashamu has been announced dead after he suffered of complications of the Corona Virus.
The prolific politician’s death was announced by a Nigerian Senator, Sen. Ben Bruce who made this known in a post on his official Instagram handle where he lament the death of the man whom he regarded as his friend.
Sen. Ben Bruce on his twitter page wrote – I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable.
He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.
Sen. Buruji Kashamu is not the first Nigerian Politician to lose his life to the Corona Virus diseases of which among them is the former chief of Staff, Late. Abba Kyari, Senator in Lagos East senatorial district, Senator Bayo Oshinowo and Immediate Past governor of Oyo State, Sen. Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi.
