Saraki, Anyim, Imoke Others Meet With Oyo PDP Stakeholders, Harp on Unity

Former Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party PDP National Reconciliatory and Strategy Committee today meet stakeholders in the party in Oyo state with the aim of reconciling the aggrieved members and foster unity

Other members of the committee includes Former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke; former Senate President former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim and form Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo

The meeting which was held at Carlton Gate Hotel had in attendance leaders of the factioner party leaders who are at logger head with Gov Makinde’s faction including Alhaji Bisi Olopoeniyan, Alhaji Mulikat Akande Adeola, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, Bar Azeem Gbolarunmi and others

Governor Makinde who had earlier recieved the committee was also at the meeting with some of his loyalists in the Party

Recall that the factional group in the party recently passed a vote of no confidence on governor Makinde and accused him of high handedness on party matters

They also went further to open a factional Secretariat office at Bodija in Ibadan

The discussion at the close door meeting, which lasted about one hour is yet to be revealed but it was gathered that the committee insisted that they factions should harmonise the house and work together as a team
