16years after the demise of Oba Kelani Olatoyese Olarinre, the Okere of Saki, a new King has emerged

He is Prince Khalid Olabisi  from the Ado ruling house

He emerged among the 22 candidates earlier nominated to fill the vacant Okere of Saki stool.

The tough race was keenly contested among 22 Candidates who also have the inalienable right to vie for the supreme stool .

Prince got the highest votes cast by the Kingmakers headed by Bagi of Saki, High Chief Adegokeh Abdurrasheed who have the sole responsibility and eligibility to elect or select the king for the ancient town in an elected witnessed and observed by Officials of Saki West local government with heavy Security Personnel.

Okere is the title of the stool of the king of Saki in Saki West local government area of Oyo state
