Saheed Osupa Thrilled Audience at World Tourism Day 2023

King of Fuji Music,  King, Dr Saheed Akorede better known as Saheed Osupa was at his best on Wednesday in Ibadan for the 2023 world tourism day

World Tourism day is an annual event set aside by United Nation World Tourism Organization to create awareness about tourism potentials promote the sector for economic benefit

In oyo state this year event was held at Bower’s Tower Oke Agala In Ibadan, Oyo state capitol

Osupa in his usual manner sang his philosophical songs with  danceable beats to the admiration of  the audience who could not help but dance to the music.

Some of the dignitaries at the event  includes the wife of a former governor Alhaja Mutiat Ladoja, Engineer Dotun Sanusi of Ilaji Hotel and Resorts, Balogun Seye Famojuro among others.

Other dignitaries at the event are leaderships of the Central Coucil of Ibadan Indigenes, members of indigenous clubs and society, top government functionaries , political office holders among others.

Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, the state commissioner for culture and Tourism in his speech said Oyo state has about 168 tourism sites and the government is making efforts to ensure all the sites are developed to attracts global attention, generate revenue and employment.

Also. Hon Bisi Oluranti Michael, Chairperson, House of Assembly Committee on Tourism in a short interview with journalists said the legislative arm is reasy to give the government necessary legislative back up to enhance tourism development in the state.
