One of the key figures in Rotary club in Nigeria, Rotarian Gbenga Adeleye on Tuesday celebrates his 50th birthday anniversary with the less privilege
Adeleye, a senior civil servant in Oyo state was at the Ibadan motherless babies’ home to present some items for the motherless
Speaking with our reporter, Adeleye said he decided to celebrate his birthday with the motherless babies in continuation of his service to humanity.
“ As a Rotarian, service to humanity is our watchword , and I think it is not out of point to celebrate my golden jubilee by sharing what I have with those who don’t have “
“At 50 I am grateful to God for his infinite mercies on me and my family and I will continue to appreciate him because he is all in all for me and my family”
While urging the privilege people in the society to imbibe the art of giving, Adeleye said ‘ We have to be our brother’s keeper, out of the little that you think you have, let us give and there is a reward for it”
One of his friend, Barrister Bolaji Ojo described Adeleye as a responsible and God fearing man who is passionate about giving and supporting people
