Chairman House of Reps Committee on Information, National Orientation Ethics and Values, Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi has commiserates with the Management of Fresh Fm, Evangelist Yinka Ayefele and Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ over the death of Mr David Ajiboye, General Manager Fresh FM 106.9 Ado Ekiti.

Hon Odebunmi described the news of Ajoboye’s death as shocking and devastating.

“It is sad for the media industry to loose such a genius, hardworking and talented young man to the cold hands of death especially at this time when he has risen to the peak of his career.

“i commiserate with his immediate and extended family and pray that Almighty God will console them and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss

While sharing in the grief of the Fresh FM and NUJ family, David’s Death is a great loss but let us take solace in the fact that he lived impactful life and his memories will continue to linger as a good ambassador of journalism profession in Nigeria and abroad

The All Progressives Federal lawmkamer who represents Ogo Oluwa /Surulere federal constituency however urge journalists to be conscious of their health status through periodic medical checkups and immediate treatment

He also urge the leadership of the union to ensure that all media practitioner are registered for the comprehensive health scheme and insurance policy.
