Manchester United are edging closer to signing Alvaro Morata as reports in Spain claim that the Real Madrid striker will travel to England to sign a five-year contract on Monday.
Onda Cero claim that a €73 million (£64.1m) deal has been agreed between the two clubs and the 24-year-old will arrive in England after Spain play their World Cup qualifier against Macedonia on Sunday evening.
Morata is set to be United’s first summer signing as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attack ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League next season.
With Antoine Griezmann now staying at Atletico Madrid due to the club’s transfer ban, United have been forced to pursue alternative options.

Morata is one of United’s priority targets but the club are also in negotiations with Torino over a deal for Italy striker Andrea Belotti.
The 23-year-old has a €100m (£88m) release clause which applies to teams outside of Italy, and Torino are adamant that United must meet that figure if Belotti is to leave.
Morata, meanwhile, appears destined to be heading to Old Trafford after a successful but frustrating campaign at Madrid.
The Spain international helped Zinedine Zidane’s side win La Liga and the Champions League but only started 16 games in both competitions combined.
