As Holy Month of Ramadanstarts tomorrow, the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has felicitated with Muslims and urged them to use the period to pray fervently for total extinction of all forms of deadly deceases from the land.

Senator Buhari in a message signed by the media team said it is rather unfortunate that Muslims throughout the world will be fasting as mandated by their Creator in an unrest situation they found themselves as a result of Coronavirus.

The All Progressives Congress APC Chieftain expressed optimism that with prayers and absolute belief in Allah, the situation will soon be history

He charged Muslims to observe their fasting in tandem with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammed Rosulullah and use every minute of fasting to appeal to God against coronavirus and other pandemic capable of claiming lives.

While wishing them rewarding Ramadan fasting, Senator Buhari admonished Muslims in Oyo North and over the country to cultivate the act of giving to the less privileged in their societies and make them happy at all times.

“We came to this world with nothing and we are going to live with nothing, so let us all try to touch as many lives as possible in this Holy month so that we can enjoy the most gracious reward of Aljannat Firdaous Allah promises the believers on the day of accountability,” Senator Buhari preached.

He also admonished Muslims to adhere strictly to orders given by governments and authorities of Islam on social distancing and hygienic environment in order to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

The lawmaker who promised to represent the people of Oyo North with utmost sincerity of purpose reiterated that he would never allow personal interest to override the general interests of his constituents.

He also added that he will continue to do his best in removing his constituents from the shackles of poverty through various empowerment initiatives.

The legislator appealed onto God to give every soul in Oyo North, Oyo State and Nigeria at large who is witnessing the beginning of the fasting to see its end and observe many of it on earth surface in good health, abundant wealth and peace of mind.
