In preparation for the second edition of the Peller Unity Cup (PUC) scheduled to hold within February and March 2022, the Project Coordinator Mr Dayo Alabi met with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Oyo State Football Association (OYFA) and Oke Ogun Coaches Association for the final harmonization of the plans and programmes for the event.
The meeting, which was held in Iseyin, had in attendance the Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Oyo State FA, Mr. Ayangbile and Mr. Kehinde Ojelowo respectively, members of the Local Organizing Committee from all the ten local governments, as well as Oke Ogun Coaches Association.
At the meeting, it was unanimously agreed that the Press Conference for the unveiling of the plans and programmes for the PUC Season II should hold on 16th February 2022 at Okeho Town Hall, Okeho in Kajola local government, while the opening match should hold on 22nd February 2022 in Saki.
In the same vein, the organizers seized the opportunity to dished out forms to all the 20 teams that will be participating in the tournament through the Local Organizing Committee. He added that it is 22 players per team and 3 officials.
As raised by the Oke Ogun Coaches Association, the organisers have shown their readiness in not only projecting the talented players in the region to the world, but also in helping them achieve their goals in the football world.
Moreover, the organizers announced that jerseys, boots and other empowerment materials are all ready and will be officially unveiled during the Press Conference in Okeho, Kajola local government area of Oyo State. The Press Conference starts 11am.
