Rector, The Polytechnic, Ibadan Professor Kazeem Adekunle ADEBIYI yesterday bagged the Fellowship award of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) at a colourful investiture ceremony held at the NSE headquarters in Abuja.

Professor Adebiyi, a Mechanical Engineer of repute was decorated along with other distinguished Engineers during the ceremony.

Professor Adebiyi is a product of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Federal University of Technology, Akure as well as the University of Ibadan.

A Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso and currently on appointment as Rector, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Engineer Adebiyi had held several positions of responsibility as a lecturer and administrator.

According to a statement signed by Soladoye ADEWOLE, Public Relations Officer of the institute, such prestigious positions was also bestowed on others qualified and certified engineer including head of department, dean of faculty and acting vice Chancellor, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.

The investiture ceremony was attended by distinguished Nigerians as well as Mrs Modupe Theresa Fawale, Registrar and Mr Olawole Adebayo Ojetola, Bursar, The Polytechnic, Ibadan respectively. Family members, friends and associates also accompanied Prof Adebiyi to the investiture ceremony.
