Professionalism in Police Must Not Be Compromised – AIG Joseph Gobum

Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 11 Command Osogbo, AIG Mukan Joseph Gobum psc(+). held his maiden meeting and lecture with the Police officers and men working at the Zonal Headquarters Osogbo.

Addressing the men, he said that it is high time everyone wakes up to his or her responsibilities, and be professional in their approach to work.

He said, our country is facing a lot of security challenges both from internal and external aggression, the onus lies on us as a professional and legal security agent to prove to the world that we are able to secure the nation, in doing this, we must remain committed and dedicated by showing our professional and competent ability.

AIG Mukan Joseph Gobum psc(+). in a statement signed by the command’s PRO Mr Benjamen Ayeni advised officers and men to abreast themselves with Police Manual and all other necessary books in order to be relevant because he will not tolerate any act of omission or commission that compromise the standard and expectations of the job

He assured the officers and men that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman psc(+), NPM fdc. is working tirelessly to see their welfare being improved.

DC Ganiyu Salami, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zonal CID, welcome the AIG to the Zonal Headquarters Osogbo, he promised on behalf of the officers and men of the zone that they will give 100% commitment to the job and remain loyal to the police authority by their work using Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Professional Ethics as guiding principles.

Both Police Chaplain and Imam prayed for a successful tenure of office for the AIG, Good Health and Prosperity for all men to perform their duties diligently.
