The members of staff of the academy wing of Crown Football Club have been charged to do everything possible to be efficient and effective in their places of assignment as these are major ingredients for optimum productivity.
The Acting General Manager and other members of the management of the Ajilete Warriors held a meeting with all the members of staff attached to the youth wing of the club on Monday after the training session
According to a release signed by the Team’s Media officer ,Tunji Alabi, the meeting deliberate on how to project the feeders team to the zenith for national and international recognition.
“I have called this meeting to appreciate us for the good job done so far and to spur us to continue to be up and doing in our places of assignment. The youth wing is the backbone of every club through which players are injected into the main team while some are sold to other clubs to increase the revenue base of the club as it is being practised globally”.
” I hope to seeing some of our Under 17 lads play in the main team and getting better offers come next session . You need to buckle up in terms of attendance and punctuality to work and adherence to the scheduled line of activities for the academy, if this will be achieved”. Mr Oyekunle Oyeleye, the Acting General Manager submitted.
In attendance at the meeting was the Welfare Officer and Team Manager, Mr Oyebowale Adetayo and Mr Monsur Suleiman, Mr Adetunde Adewumi Assistant Coordinator 1, Mr Olayiwola Kazeem Assistant Coordinator 2, Mr Banji Akanmu Chief Coach , Mr Everous Ozeigbemi Assistant Coach/Goal Keeper Trainer and Mr Ojewola Olusegun the Fitness Officer.
Crown FC academy has both Under 15 and Under 17 wings with the sole aim of combining education and football activities without any interference whatsoever so as to prepare the players for a brighter future both in the round leather game and academics.
