The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Senator Ajimobi and his Osun state counterpart, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola have been urged to consider immediate reopening of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology a topmost priority.

Pride of Ogbomosoland, a socio-cultural organization made the call in a press statement issued and signed by its president Mr Sunday Adekojo and Secretary Adekunle Adeyi.

The club noted that the two years industrial action has not only affected the students and workers of LAUTECH but also affect Ogbomoso and its environs.

“Economic activities have been seriously affected since the industrial action started; many businesses are gone into extinction while those in existence manage to survive”.
