In a world where humility rarely walks hand-in-hand with power, Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi stands out. He is an Ogbomoso-born technocrat whose quiet strength, intellect, and unassuming grace have become hallmarks of his public service. As the Director-General of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council (PEAC) and the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Prince Adeyemi [spacing size has, in a short span, embodied President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda with clarity, competence, and conviction.

A man of humble background, Prince Adeniyi’s story is one of grit refined by grace. His journey from Ogbomoso, a town in Oyo State, to the heart of Nigeria’s economic decision-making corridors exemplifies vision, focus and divine favour. His leadership philosophy, anchored on humility, dedication, and result-oriented commitmen, has redefined how national economic diplomacy is pursued under the Tinubu administration.

Prince Adeniyi is a distinguished Nigerian technocrat, administrator, entrepreneur, philanthropist, politician, and patriot of exceptional repute. Intellectually versatile, Prince Adeniyi is often described as a blend of administrator, economist, philosopher, and diplomat, as his eloquence and mastery transcend disciplines. His speeches and insights reveal a rare brilliance that commands respect globally. In the annals of modern youth politics and global leadership, his name resonates as one of the most impactful figures whose contributions have shaped the trajectory of youth inclusion and empowerment worldwide. His journey reflects the fusion of innate greatness, acquired wisdom, and divinely bestowed purpose.

An alumnus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, and the Western University of Ontario, Canada, he has distinguished himself as President-General of the World Youth United Nations Organization and Convener of the Confederation of United Nations Youth (CUNY). His leadership birthed landmark achievements such as the Youth Empowerment Schemes Bill, which protects the rights and welfare of young workers globally. His organisation, the Ambassador Adeniyi Adeyemi Foundation, continues to transform lives through education, entrepreneurship, and social welfare initiatives.

Prince Adeniyi’s commitment to excellence has earned him numerous international recognitions, including the United Nations Award of Most Excellent Youth in the World (2018), Grand Commander of World Youth United Nations Organization (2016), and Distinguished African Youth of the Year (2015), among others. His exceptional leadership has also been recognised through his appointments as Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Investment Promotion.

Since assuming his strategic dual role under Preident Tinubu, Prince Adeniyi has worked relentlessly to turn the presidential intent into visible national gains. Tasked with restoring investor confidence, attracting foreign direct investments (FDI), and rebuilding Nigeria’s image as a reliable investment destination, he has approached the assignment with a rare mix of policy depth and practical coordination.

Under his leadership, the PEAC and PFIPC have become dynamic engines of economic diplomacy in bridging the Presidency, Parliament, and private sector towards one unified goal; that is, making Nigeria competitive again in the global investment marketplace. Through careful strategy and proactive outreach, Prince Adeniyi has opened new investment channels that link local priorities with international capital.

His visionary leadership was notably displayed in the recently held Pre-World Summit, a precursor to the forthcoming World Economic Summit, which he is spearheading in partnership with global investment stakeholders. The initiative, inspired by President Tinubu’s global economic agenda, seeks to position Nigeria at the centre of Africa’s next growth wave, with focus on critical sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and the digital economy.

His engagements with the National Assembly to institutionalise investor-friendly reforms reflect a deep understanding of governance synergy where sound policy must find support in sound law. His collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and regulatory agencies to establish due diligence protocols stresses his commitment to transparent, credible, and accountable investment processes.

At the heart of all these, however, lies a rare quality: humility. Despite his global exposure and influence, Prince Adeniyi remains approachable, deliberate in speech, and steadfast in character. He carries his responsibilities with the calm assurance of one guided by purpose rather than power. His youth leadership credentials, already recognised at the global stage, have become a point of inspiration for a new generation of Nigerian leaders who believe that integrity and innovation can indeed coexist.

Prince Adeniyi’s work has made the PFIPC a ‘front door’ for credible foreign partnerships. These offer guarantees, streamline processes, and ensure that Nigeria’s investment climate is both attractive and accountable. These efforts, combined with his outreach to traditional institutions and strategic agencies, have strengthened national unity around economic recovery and inclusive growth.

As he marks another year of life, this birthday is more than a personal celebration; it is an affirmation of service. Prince Adeniyi’s life exemplifies the spirit of the Renewed Hope Agenda, a belief that Nigeria can rise, that sincerity can lead, and that humility can still command influence.

In Prince Adeniyi, Ogbomoso finds not just a son to celebrate, but a model of excellence for the nation to felicitate. His story reminds me that leadership, when clothed in grace and anchored in purpose, becomes not a position but a legacy.

Happy birthday, Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi, a technocrat of purpose, a leader of promise, and an enduring candidate of grace.
