Police Rescue Nine Kidnap Victims In Zamfara

The Zamfara State Police Command has rescued nine victims abducted by bandits in Kucheri village of Tsafe Local Government Area of the state.

CSP Mohammed Shehu, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, in a statement, disclosed that the police tactical operatives on Wednesday rescued the victims.

He stated,

“On 13th April, 2023, Police Tactical Operatives successfully rescued nine hostages – comprising seven females and two males who were abducted on 11th April, 2023 in Kucheri village in Tsafe local government area of the state.”

According to PRO, the rescue of the victims followed credible information obtained from a good Samaritan used by the police and successfully rescued the victims hale and hearty.

He added that the victims were debriefed by the police detectives and reunited with their families and relations.

Kolo Yusuf, the state Commissioner of Police, assured the public of a sustained onslaught against the activities of bandits and other criminal elements by the police in the state.
