Oyo state police command has cleared air on the identity of three men including a clergy man arrested for being possession items suspected to be Human parts
The command’s public relations Officer SP Osifeso Adewale in a statement said the suspects includes Taofeek Olalekan,’m’ 46yrs, Ramon Opeyemi, ‘m’ Age 47yrs and Taiwo Akinrinola Age 37yrs were arrested Agbarigo Junction Jericho area, Ibadan
According to him “Preliminary investigations reveal that on 16/10/2023 at about 2130hrs, operatives attached to the Command’s Swift Response Squad while on intelligence driven patrols & stop and search duty at Agbarigo junction, Jericho road, Ibadan, encountered and flagged down a Toyota Highlander SUV with Registration number AAA 885 EP occupied by three suspicious looking individuals who were later identified as; Taofeek Olalekan,’m’ 46yrs, Ramon Opeyemi, ‘m’ Age 47yrs and Taiwo Akinrinola Age 37yrs”
“While in the process of dutifully searching the vehicle conveying the above individuals, a bag containing items suspected to be Human Parts were found without any satisfactory explanation as to how they came about either the bag or the items”
” The case has been transferred to the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku for forensic details and analysis while efforts are intensified to apprehend other members of the criminal network”
