Police operatives have apprehended a child-trafficking syndicate led by Pastor Dayo Bernard of End Time Army Ministry, Bukuru, Plateau State, along with four accomplices.

The arrest, made on December 2, 2024, followed the rescue of five children aged 2 to 4, according to a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

The principal suspect reportedly confessed to abducting and selling 13 children, who have since been reunited with their families through the Plateau State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

In a related development, operatives of the Force Intelligence Department – Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) arrested Ogaga Dickson, a 35-year-old member of a notorious armed robbery syndicate responsible for the death of CSP Hassan Jega, DPO of Agbarho Division, Delta State.
