Scores of Pensioners in Osun State today trooped to the streets of Osogbo, the state capital to protest the non-payment of their arrears of pension and gratuity.
The Pensioners who marched under the aegis of the Nigeria Union Pensioners, NUP tagged the protest three days prayer walk to demand payment of their outstanding benefits.
They carried placards with various inscription such as” half salary is Ungodly, Rauf Aregbesola, pay backlogs of Salaries,president muhamadu Buhari save Osun people now.”
The retired workers are currently moving from Ayetoro to Olaiya junction as we file this report.
