PDP reconciliation committee visits Ladoja in Ibadan

National Reconciliation Committee of the People’s Democratic Party led by Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa on Thursday morning visited the former governor of Oyo state Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja in Ibadan

Dickson who was in company of  some  party stalwart including Aminu Wali, Senator Abdul Ningi, Oloye Jumoke Akinjide Appeal to the former governor  to rally round others that are aggrieved in the party in the south west so that they can reclaims the states back in 2019

“ Our coming here is to appeal to you to put behind what transpire during the convention in Abuja and work with the national working committee under the leadership of prince Uche  Secondus  in the interest of progress of the party and for a better Nigeria”

He also appealed to the former Accord leader not to limit its efforts in the party to Oyo but  extend it to other states expecially Osun and Ekiti where election is taking place in 2018 so that the party can win the governorship seat  back

In his response, Senator Ladoja  promised  to work with the Uche Secondus led leadership of the party saying “ As far as I am concern, I have come to PDP to stay, I am not leaving for any party again, and I will ensure that I do my best to ensure PDP returns to power in the southwest and presidency in 2019
