The management of ParrotXtra Media Network, publishers of ParrotXtra Magazine and PMParrotng.com, has expressed sympathy with gospel singer and broadcaster, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, MON, over the multimillion-naira loss incurred following a fire outbreak at his Music House in Ibadan on Friday evening.
In a statement signed by the crew leader, Ambassador Olayinka Agboola, the organisation described the incident as “extremely saddening.”
“The news of the fire that gutted Dr. Yinka Ayefele’s Music House got us really bothered because the Music House is the powerhouse of Ayefele’s creative hub. We are sure that all of us will feel the impact,” the statement read.
Agboola noted that Ayefele, through Fresh 105.5 FM, had played a significant role in the success of ParrotXtra Media Network’s 20th anniversary celebration held on May 5, 2025, by offering extensive media support.
He added: “Our prayer is that God will hasten to provide necessary support through well-wishers and supporters for the restoration of what was lost to the inferno by Ayefele and his organisation.”
ParrotXtra Media further expressed confidence that the setback would not derail the upcoming 10th anniversary celebration of Fresh FM Nigeria, assuring that it would be a resounding success.
“We will continue to stand with Dr. Yinka Ayefele as a formidable friend of the house and a trusted media partner,” Agboola stated.
