About 30 parents of the yet-to-be-freed Chibok girls as well as members of the #BringBackOur Girls movement storms Abeokuta to meet Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday
The meeting held at one of the conference halls in the Green Legacy Hotel within Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The parents asked him to intervene for the return of the girls still in Boko Haram’s captivity.
The leader of delegation and Head of Operations of the Foundation, Mrs. Funmi Adesanya told newsmen that invitation was at the instance of the former president, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Murtala Muhammed Foundation.
About 40 parents, including members of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign group arrived the Hotel about 30 minutes ago and went into launch with the former President. According to Adesanya, “the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-convener of the Bring Back our Girls (BBOG) campaign group, Mrs Aisa
