Oyo Speaker, Hon. Odebunmi Laments Faulty Card Reader, Insecurity

Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon Joshua Olagunju Ojo and a member of the National Assembly, Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi has lamented faulty card readers

Hon Gunju Ojo who voted at 9:07 in his polling unit at Ahoro Dada, Oriire South local government said as at 11 am some unit are yet to get their voting materials .

He added that a material meant for a ward in Ogo Oluwa was mistakenly brought to Orrire.

Ojo who also lamented security challenges maintained that though there has not been cases of ballot snatching but the turnout was impressives and encouraging.

Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi while speaking with journalists in Oko said there were cases of malfunctioning of card readers in some wards and unit.

“As at 1pm some people are yet to vote because card reader is not functioning properly in some unit, we are making calls to INEC and they promised to be here soon.

Hon Odebubmi maintained that the turnout was impressive and it shows that people are conscious of the need to vote a credible candidate .
