Oyo South: Stakeholders Pledge Support for Tegbe

Various stakeholders in Ibarapa zone have assured The Oyo South Senatorial District Candidate of the People Democratic Party, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe of total support from the seven (7) Ibarapa towns in the forthcoming general election.

This assurance was given at the Zonal Consultative/Town Hall Meeting today at Damola Event Center, Eruwa, Oyo State.

A prominent party leader, Chief Adewale Atanda noted that, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe is a tested and trusted candidate across the Seven Ibarapas after a cross examination by members of the party and the community at large

Stakeholders drawn from each Ibarapa towns include, Chief Solomon Ogunjimi, Chief Ademola Eyinade Eleti-Ilu, Dr Olusola Ayandele Eruobodo, Hon Sola Fakorede and many others. They took turns to eulogize the PDP candidate and note his contributions to the development of Ibarapa land. They assured him that his victory is certain in the Seven Ibarapa.

The Chairman of the PDP in Oyo state, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro said Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe’s antecedents and his record of good behavior and a proper ‘Omoluabi’ gave him a good edge over other candidates. He assured Ibarapa people that their interests and welfare will be secured by Tegbe and other PDP candidates.

In his remarks, Gov. Seyi Makinde also implored all aggrieved members to forgive and forget and also to come together and work on victory for every candidates come 2023.

The governor also stated that, out of the candidates present at the Town Hall Meeting, Five (5) of them are seeking re-election, while 2 are new and name those two as, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe and Hon. Bayo Adepoju and pleaded support for all of the candidates including him.

The event was graced by dignitaries like The Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, Deputy Gov., Barr. Bayo Lawal, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, Honorable representing Ibarapa East State Constituency, Hon. Bayo Adepoju, aspiring for House of representative, Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluyemi Taiwo, Honorable representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Alh. Hon. Amb. Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, Chief of Staff, Oyo State, Hon. Segun Ebenezer, Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Adebo Ojo, Chairman Gov. Advisory Council, Sen. Ayoola Agboola, members of Gov. Advisory Council, Sen. Alh. Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu, Sen. Gbenga Andrew Babalola and Sen. Kamorudeen Adedibu.

Also, Commissioner for Youths & Sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede, Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy, Hon Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibiire, Special Assistant to the Governor on student matters, Comr. Victor Olojede, Local Government Chairmen as well as other government functionaries
