.The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ) Oyo State Command have paraded a suspect specialised in burglary and phone theft at the Command State Headquarters old Nitel building Agodi Ibadan.
While parading the suspect, the state Commandant of the Corps CC Adaralewa Micheal made it known to the journalist that the suspect Aderinto Segun male, age 22, who hails from Ibadan,Amuloko area of Ona-Ara Local Government Oyo State, was arrested at Pegba, along Muslim area of Oluyole Local Government, Ibadan, on 25th October,2022 after he was rescued from been mobbed by angry citizens of the area. He was handed over to NSCDC by Agbekoya group passing by.
Meanwhile, the state Commandant later give the items recovered from the suspect as 1 Android phone, 1 32inches plasma TV, A manual Rechargeable fan and different kinds of clothing. With the zero tolerance policy of the State Commandant CC Adaralewa Micheal to crime and criminality the suspect will be charged to court after which he confirmed in his statement to have committed the crime and pleaded that justice be tempered with mercy.
The State Commandant used the medium to appeal to the citizens of the State to continue to supply the Corps with a first hand information to nib the crime in the bud and also enjoined the citizens of the state to desist from jungle justice.
