The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command commissioned a new area ‘K’ Command office at Iresaadu Ogbomosho Local Government Oyo State.
Dr Michael Adaralewa and representative of other service commander in the State graced the occasion and commissioned the new Area ‘k’ command office in other to make the protection of life’s and property of the people of the area well secured.
The command’s PRO Oyindamola Okuneye in statement said the development is one of the visions of Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi OFR, Mni, for the Corps to be more direct to the citizens for grassroot protection and approved the establishment of the Area “K” command office as a means of consolidating on the commendable efforts of the Oyo State Government, Ogbomosho local government and security actors in the state.
The newly commissioned Area “k” command office in IRESAADU shall superintend over six (6) divisions which are: SURULERE
IRESAAPA, SURULERE SOUTH (OKO)
OGO-OLUWA (AJAAWA),OGO-OLUWA (ODO-OBA), OGO-OLUWA II (OPETE) .
Commandant Adaralewa Michael Akintayo phD, assured the people of the area of Command readiness to make available all necessary material both human and material resources to ensure the protection of lives and property, and work in collaboration with other security agencies for the maintenance of law and order.
