The Oyo State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,(NSCDC) CC Adaralewa Michael has called on the Divisional officers across the State to be more vigilance in their community as we prepares for Christmas and New year celebrations.
Commandant Adaralewa Michael made this known at the State Command Headquarters of NSCDC in Oyo State while addressing the officers and men of the Corps on the Security Operational put in place during the yuletide period. He expressed his optimism about the Security of lives and properties of the citizens and urged all officers and men to be active to their core mandate.
Commandant Adaralewa made it known that 2500 of the officers and men will be deployed for the festive period that will comprises Anti-Vandalism unit, Counter Terrorism unit, Agro Rangers, Female special squad and Disaster management unit.
Meanwhile, Commandant Adaralewa Michael has requested for the support of Oyo State people to always inform NSCDC anytime they suspected any unauthorized movement within their vicinity or the sister agencies for better protection of lives and properties.
He later urged the Christians and citizens of the State to pray for the survival of the present democracy as the nation are preparing for the 2023 general elections.
